I did find James Griffis in the 1930 Census in Pct 1, Hunt County but 1910 is being very elusive. I never thought to use the name Griffin but did use Griffith. I will try Griffin in the link you gave me. You gave me a lot of information I do not have. Here I was thinking I had a lot. ha Thanks again, Joyce Edgar Phipps joyron@classicnet.net Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 3. Griffis Researchers, I tried many different spellings for Griffis in Hunt 1910 I also tried looking for first names of James, Jessie and Jesse and there children Marvin, Claude and Loyd the ones from the other census who would have been listed on the 1910. I also looked through page by page of the Caddo Mills Dist there is only 17 pages so there may have been some pages missing. I found nothing on them in 1910 Hunt census or Texas or Tennesse for that matter This may be one of those all to common occasions they where missed on the counting of the census.
