    1. LEE-PEACOCK FEUD, HUNT CO., TX
    2. Yes, I have the original book written about this feud and Capt. Bob Lee. It's possible his father is the brother of my great great grandfather mentioned earlier, i.e. WILLIAM G. LEE, b. 1805 KY, d. 1873 Hunt Co.; however, I've never found a linking document. The original book is "Murder at the Corners". I do have evidence that my WILLIAM G. LEE and his older sons, ABEL G. LEE (b. 1837 AR), ROBERT WILLIAM LEE (b. 1839 Barry Co., MO) & WILLIAM C. LEE (b. 1841 Linn Co., MO) were all threatened with hanging if the boys didn't sign up to fight for the Confederacy which they did. The big thicket at the "corners" was used by many deserters, bushwackers and outlaws including John Wesley Hardin during one of his trips to Hunt Co. supposedly to help some of his kin.
