James, I recall Stapletons living close to the Sabine River near the crossing known as the "Iron Bridge". Mattie Stapleton married a Brannan and I think a Wilson. I think Mabel Wilson, daughter of Mattie, married Randall Atkinson. Mildred Stapleton, younger than Mattie, married Ivan Glass. Some of the marriages are listed in the "Hunt County Marrieage Book."
