He could not read or write and we have no information on him or his family. He had one sister, Ivey Inez Borth. We have heard his father was a boxer and died before he was born or shortly thereafter. His step-father was William Smith from Canada. We do not even know his Mother's name but it may have been Georgia. He married Elma Brumley 7-26-1914 in Finley, Ok. They lived all their lives in Wapanucka, Ok and had 12 children. My mother is one of the 12. I would appreciate any information any of you out there may have.
