Mr. and Mrs. Paris Will Observe 50th Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. John Paris will observe their Golden Wedding Anniversary on Saturday, November 19th. Open house honoring the couple will be held at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Robert H. Woodruff on West Main in Wolfe City from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, Sunday, November 20th. Hosts and hostesses will be the children of the couple, including E. L. Paris of Greenville, Clyde Paris of Arlington, Mrs. Louise Woodruff of Wolfe City, Mrs. Imogene Wallace of Greenville, Mrs. Mearl Allen of Emory, Mrs. Edith Isbell of Denison, Mrs. Arvinia Barnes of Wolfe City, and Mrs. Earleen Foster of Alba. The couple were married at the home of her parents by Sam Jones, Baptist minister of Celeste. Mr. Paris is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Paris of Celeste and Mrs. Paris is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Greenwood of Celeste. Mr. Paris is a retired farmer and the couple have lived most of their lives in Hunt County.
