To the researcher of Frank C Davis, I looked on a CD I own of Texas marriages which include Hunt co until 1900 I did not find Frank Davis listed or any Davis who might be him married to a Maude or Maud. maybe he and Maud married somewhere else. Maybe someone might find it in the original marriage records and it was missed on the CD making. The 1900 Hunt Co TX Census says that Frank and Maud had been married for 4 years making them married about 1896 or 1895 depending on when they married Frank was age 25 he listed he was b May 1875 TX Maud was age 18 b Sept 1881 b MO living with them was Sam Davis age 20 b May 1870 also TX he was listed as Frank's brother Frank and Sam say their father ws born in Ark and their mother in TX they both list they where born in Tx Maud listed as born in Missouri as well as her parents. I was looking for his WW 1 Draft Card I found a Frank Coke Davis with a wife named Maudie who registered in Curry Co NM He listed his date of birth as May 9 1874 (this is off by one year from the 1900 census of May 1875 if this is him I have seen this many times on WW 1 Draft Cards) Many draft cards I have seen have been off by one year from the birth listed on the 1900 census. A Frank Davis with the same birth date of 5-9-1874 according to the SS Death index was issued a Card in Minnesota he died Jan 1964 but it does not list his place of last benefit it does say his last residence was in Minnesota The 1920 Clovis Curry Co NM census says Frank C Davis b TX parents also TX age 47 Maud age 36 b MO parents also MO Lucy/Lacy C age 14 b TX Herbert age 1 year and 4 months b NM this just might be them I am not sure since I dont know their kids names. I did not find them listed in Hunt in 1910 or anywhere else for that matter. I looked in TExas and New Mexico first and the other states.
