Mr. Neel has been ill for about two months. Born May 12, 1875 in Comanche County, he was the son of Duncan and Lenora Caudle Neel. He had been a resident of Hunt County since 1928. Mr. Neel was a retired farmer and a member of the Cash Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 4 p.m. at the Cash Baptist Church. Rev. Charles Bethea and Rev. Raymond Diggs will officiate. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park. Coker-Mathews-Peters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include his widow, the former Roxie Briscoe; three sons, Clifford Neel, Fort Worth; Jesse Neel, Greenville; and Delbert Ray, also of Greenville; two daughters, Mrs. Carey Yant and Mrs. Ivy Bobbitt, both of Fort Worth; one brother, Will Davenport, Quinlan; one sister, Mrs. Bell Clark of Corpus Christi; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
