I do believe he found his original birth certificate to be so. Dad's brother O.G. was Oliver Gerald. His son O.G. Rippy "jr" is married and has a son Justin Rippy. Most of our info comes from Dad's youngest brother Odie whose ties to grandma's side, Ethridges probably knows more than anyone. Most of them reside in Canadian, TX . Odie is in Waxahatchie Tx and Gerald is in Amarillo. Odie has two sons and two daughters. If you check the IMDB database for Matt Rippy, well we have at least one movie star in the family.
