Edd died July 20, 1960 in Hunt County. He first married Ora Mallard who died and is buried in Wise County in 1918. He later married Roxie Briscoe. I have found the obituaries for his sons Clifford McFarland, Jessie and Roxie but none on Edd. I am trying to prove that Edd Neel is the son of Duncan McFarland Neel and his mother was Tryphenia Barcroft. D.M. Neel married Mrs. E.M. Deavenport (Emeline) in Hunt County in 1896 and they moved to Oklahoma. Edd had brothers Ernest(Mary Ham) and Walter(married Lula Pole), sisters Mary and Johnnie or Fannie.
