I have some info that indicates a great uncle was married in "Shady Grove", Hunt Co., TX. Since I could not find this community, I wonder if it was another county, even though he lived most of adult life in Greenville, TX. Thank you again, Sandy
While on the subject. I wonder if anyone has seen mention of a town called Charity in north east Texas? I have never seen it on the internet nor could google or rootsweb find it. A 1906 copy of the 'Commerce Journal' has an article that my great-grandmother 'Anna Barbara Epperson married J J Jeffreys' (of charity) in a Buggy in the front yard of Rev. J D Allen. She lived in the White Rock community. Just curious!
