    1. [TXHUNT] Hart puzzle
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Hart Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.texas.counties.hunt/3519/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I am looking for my ancestor John T. Hart. He is listed in the 1850 Hunt Co. TX census. Right next door are Martin and Hardin Hart, who are described in Hunt Co. genealogy and personal genealogies. Martin and Hardin are the sons of a John Hart but not my John T. Hart. Also puzzling: in the 1850 Hunt Co. census there are four Hart men listed as being from Kentucky: John T b. 1786, Silas b. 1793, Charles b. 1795, and Josiah b. 1795. Since all the Hart families seem to use the names John, Josiah, Silas, David and Thomas over and over it is hard to find who my John is related to! Any help appreciated.
