No wonder you are getting confused! You are getting information about two separate places. There most certainly was a Shady Grove in Hunt County. I'm not sure if it was ever considered a town or just a community, but I have been there many times. I grew up in Scatterbranch community, between Commerce and Greenville. Honey Grove is a completely different place. It is east of Bonham. Shady Grove was just south of where highway 50 and Interstate 30 meet. Hope this helps. Sue Lynn
