    3. A. W. Bell Died in Dallas Hospital Sunday Afternoon A. W. Bell, 55, of 564 Lorraine Circle, Greenville, died at 12:30 PM Sunday, October 31, 1965, in Baylor Medical Center following a sudden illness. Services were at 3:00 PM Monday at the Owens Funeral Home Chapel in Wolfe City, with the Rev. J. O. Majors officiating. Pallbearers were nephews. Interment was in Mount Carmel Cemetery. He was born January 22, 1910, in Hickory Creek, the son of W. E. Bell and Willie Ann Stephens Bell. He married Juanita Ward in 1946. He was employed as a butcher at the Piggly Wiggly Store in Greenville and was a member of the Hickory Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow; two sons, Bobby Bell of Dallas and Jerry Bell of Dallas; one daughter, Mrs. Lou Ann Overcuff of Carthage; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Rex Bell of Wolfe City and B. B. Bell of Celeste; three sisters, Miss Vera Bell of Greenville, Mrs. Ray Grisham of Bailey, and Mrs. David Turner of Point. (November 5, 1965, The Celeste Courier)
