Mrs. H. T. Reynolds Church of Christ Services Friday Funeral services for Mrs. Herbert T. Reynolds, 66, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday at Leonard Church of Christ with L. R. Fullerton, minister of the church, and the Rev. John R. Riggs, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Leonard Cemetery with Wilson Funeral Home directing. Casketbearers will be Paul McCaslin, Ted McCaslin, Ernie Thorp, Homer Bench, Burton Seigler, and W. S. Bratcher. Mrs. Reynolds passed away at 8:45 PM Wednesday, November 3, 1965, in a Terrell hospital following a lengthy illness. The former Miss Ima Wharton was born July 25, 1899 in the Lane community, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Wharton. She married Herbert T. Reynolds November 24, 1918 and the couple had spent their entire married life in the Leonard area. Mrs. Reynolds had been a member of the Leonard Church of Christ since her early teens. Survivors are her husband of Leonard; one son, Preston T. Reynolds of Webster Groves, Missouri; one daughter, Mrs. James R. Burgess of Dallas; three grandsons and one granddaughter, Steve Reynolds and Rande Reynolds, Sharon Reynolds, and Barry Burgess. Also three sisters, Mrs. Kim Macon, RR 1, Celeste; Mrs. Elza Jackson, Lubbock; and Mrs. John Jackson, Sulphur Springs; survive. (November 5, 1965, The Celeste Courier)
