H. A. (Bob) Standlee Graveside services for Mr. H. A. (Bob) Standlee, age 78, of Dodd City, will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 4, 2003, in the Dodd City Cemetery, under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Bro. Bob Money will officiate. Mr. Standlee passed away on May 31, 2003 at the I. H. S. Seven Oaks Care Center in Bonham. Mr. Standlee was born on July 3, 1924 in Hunt County, the son of James Arthur Standlee and Bertha Teague Standlee. He attended schools in Prairie Hill between Celeste and Leonard. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Dodd City and was a United States Army veteran of World War II from 1940 to 1945. He was a carpenter. He is survived by sons, Larry Standlee of Windom, Texas, Wayne Standlee of Junction City, Kansas, Terry Standlee of Magnolia, Texas, Steve Standlee of Dodd City, Bobby (Jerry) Standlee of Celeste, and Travis Standlee; daughters, Lila Smith of Yuba, Oklahoma, Wanda Barr of Aiken, South Carolina, Judy Bridges of Ivanhoe, Texas, Freda Riddle of Midway, Arkansas, and Deborah Standlee of El Paso, Texas; sisters, Margaret Stone of Bonham and June Franklin of Howe; twenty-three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
