Bobby Cawthon Hurt in Germany The Cawthons here in a recent letter from their grandson, Bobby Cawthon, heard of his injuries in a truck accident while on duty in the US Army in Germany. In the Signal Corps, Bobby was with a mission laying communication cable through the Alps in Switzerland. Of one hundred trucks in service in the particular trip, twenty-eight were lost, due to hazardous conditions. The driver, of the truck in which Bobby was in, lost control and hit a tree, the resulting crash causing Bobby to get a broken jaw. In six weeks, the break is due to be healed he wrote.
