I won't be able to do anything more until the county gets in there, it is so overgrown that it is dangerous, and I have really tried... I called Hunt County about it and they have agreed to clean it up... if there is not some problem with the county BEING in there. It was cleaned up, but only up to the cemetery gates, last year, it was thought... but you cannot walk into the cemetery itself, without a machete. I got about 15 markers transcribed while I was there but it is not safe in there. What I got, which is not much, is at www.cemeteries-of-tx.com, scroll down to East Texas and you will see Hunt County. I will continue to work on it after the county has been in there. As it is now, you cannot walk a step without a machete in hand, and you cannot see the markers, it is so overgrown. It is a terrible shame. Mary lived in Hunt County about 2 miles southeast of the town of Wolfe City (in the country. I do not recognize any other person in the photo, so I suspect it to be a community photo.
