Hi Mary, I am in Texas and I can look up your family at our local library, if you can look up one of my ancestors who moved to California around 1918. My ancestor is Reason Edward Thames, born March 23, 1876, in Texas. I would just like to know what information the 1920 census has about him. He should be in San Bernardino County. Hello, I would like to find the family of Amos J. Eldridge in the 1900 Hunt Co census records. He and his wife (name unknown) had at least one son named Roy, who would have been about age 4. Amos might have had a son name Jess who would have been about 9 or 10. Then, I'd like to follow this family into the subsequent census records of 1910-1930. I can't say for sure if they remained in Hunt Co though. Roy died in 1965 in Grayson Co., TX. Thank you very much, Mary in CA

I have read this 3 times and can find no one that I am familiar with. My husband and I have had many family members that live in Hunt County but none of these seem to be related. Received the following sometime back, as you can see. Apparently I posted incorrectly. As I read the story, I really don't know how. . .my mind must have been somewhere else. I see that it does read, "Pioneer Woman Falls Asleep, Mrs. N. T. Lawler, 1929" in the subject title. . . Sorry, Sarah ----- Original Message ----- From: William Sent: Sunday, August 17, 2003 10:04 PM Subject: Obit Incorrect on E. V. Hufstedler In looking at your information on obits in Hunt County, the obit for Mrs. E. V. Hufstedler should say "Obit for Mrs. N. T. Lawler." Mrs. Lawler was the mother of Mrs. E. V. Hufstedler who lived in Dallas. Read the survivors...as well as the first line again. Just thought you might want to know for genealogy purposes. Thanks, Glenda Allen
