Ladonia is fairly close to the Hunt County/Fannin County line. I also have a copy of a photo by a Ladonia photographer. My gg grandfather's land was on both sides of the county line. He was enumerated in Fannin on one census and Hunt on another. Hi, I am researching the LATHAM family/families that lived in Hunt Co in the mid to late 1860's. They lived in a part of Hunt that in late 1870 became Rains Co. somewhere around Emory. If anybody runs across ANY records such as marriage, land etc I would really appreciate the info. Thanks, Robin I

Hi Audrey! Sorry, I don't know anything about your ancestors. Just recently discovered my great great grandfather is buried in the IOOF cemetery there and that he lived just west of Farmersville along with some of my other relatives in the 1870's and afterward. Have you checked out Collin county ( the county just west of Hunt)? Good Luck!!! MARK
Hi: I guess the holidays were too long to be away from genealogy, and I don't remember what TXHunt is. Is this one of the genealogy things I registered or subscribed? I dislike being dense, but truthfully I do not remember my connection with you. I have received about five e-mails about no one posting. ????? Please respond so I can sleep tonight. ha Audrey Valente -------------------------------- On Saturday, January 3, 2004, at 10:39 AM, Sue Jackson wrote: > I am answering the roll call. I am answering the roll call. I am still here. Dell came and put on a new CD drive that has been bad since I bought it in Feb. I spent all day yesterday with FTM re: my new Version 11 on Windows XP. They knew what my problem was and said engineers are working on correcting it but didn't know when they would have a new CD out so If you have windows XP may not want to upgrade to 11 just yet. It has been a nightmare for a computer novice.
