    2. According to the SSDI, L. E. Shrum, her oldest son, was born in 1917. Stella Marie was b. ca 1923, and Jack a bit later. She did have a nephew name of James Duffer. Any Shrums or Duffers in Hunt Co. are likely to be kin since those surnames are uncommon. -------------- Original message from "Sharon Ward" <[email protected]>: -------------- > Ralph, we may have a connection. 2. There are also several books out there on the Lee-Peacock feud. I have been researching it trying to figure out for sure which William C Hall was the Sheriff killed and if he is not ours if he is connected to our William C Hall. Then you could ask some of the members here to do look-ups based on anything you find out which may be relevant to your family tree. I came to know about the Lee-Peacock family feud through a former colleague in Dallas, Larry Peacock. He has done a good deal of research on his side of the feud. Having worked at a tv station, he was able to get produced a 5 minute or so video package about the feud and the legend of his great great grandfather. I believe that I contributed a VHS copy of that segment to the Hunt County Genealogy group several years ago when I was at the Library doing some research on my own Hunt County family history. If I recall correctly, it was Carol/Carolyn (???) that I gave it to. 1. Human family in Hunt County?
    2. Nancy Human
    3. I have been trying to confirm the burial of 3 family members in Mt Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City. They are: 1. Henry P. Human, son of Jesse Marquis and Mattie Cowan Human - died Feb. 1893 2. Mattie Bell Cowen Human, wife of Jesse Marquis Human - died abt Dec. 1894 3. Laura Whitt Human, wife of Jesse Marquis Human - died early 1897 I've tried to trace these graves through accessgenealogy.com and was linked to interment.net. But apparently Mt. Carmel has not been completely transcribed. Does anyone have any resources to help me? We'd like to come down (from Oklahoma) and photograph the gravestones, if there be any. Also, Jesse Marquis Human was said to be working at a harness shop in Wolfe City between 1886 and 1897. Is there any business directories, or other resources to confirm this? Also, any mention of this family in Hunt County resources you all know about? Thanks in advance for any help. You are a list composed of very helpful people.

    3. does anybody on this list go to cemeteries and look up names. I would love to know where Perry Leonides Johnston is buried. He died 3-26-1938. He lived in Eulogy, Texas in the 1930's. Possibly buried near Walnut Springs, or Lone Oak, TX as these are places he lived previously. His wife was Mollie Elizabeth Abbott Lafon Johnston. I'd gladly look up someone in Oklahoma City or Moore or Edmond in exchange for this.
