The Hood County Genealogical Society is pleased to bring you new biographical information on William Thomas Sellars, 1841-1905, a Hood County military veteran of the Civil War. Sellars saved his future brother-in-law's life in the Civil War while serving in the Missouri Cavalry. Later he moved to Granbury where he owned a business on the north side of the Granbury Square in the building now known as The Downtown Store. Sellars' name is on a brass doorplate in front of this building. William Thomas Sellars is buried in Granbury Cemetery. The information was written by Sellars' grandson who died about 25 years ago. W. Cody Martin, Sellars' great-great-great-great-grandson, has contributed the information to HCGS, and we are indeed most appreciative. http://www.granbury.com/~ancestor/z/biog/SellarsWilliamThomas.htm Thank you, Virginia Hale WebPages Staff Editor Hood County Genealogical Society
