Sept. 27, 1892 in Granbury, Hood Co.,TX. His parents were John A. MILLER and Clyde WALLS (yes, Clyde was a lady). Jess ran away from home at the age of 12 (due to abuse, I was told) and never returned. I know his parents had another son in August 1903, as it is listed in the Hood Co. register of births.
