Searching for family of William STOKES, age 33 on 1880 Hood Co census, b AL, wife Sarah, children Emily, Lorenza, Martha, Maxie, and Lou. William lived next door to Martha A. Louisa (Lou) STOKES (b 05 Feb 1858 in AL, county and parents unknown) and husband James Alexander FLETCHER. (They were married in Etowah Co AL 20 Jan 1875.) Think William and Lou may have been siblings. At death of Alex FLETCHER, Lou married W.A. (Bud) ELLIOTT in 1890 in Hood Co TX. Lou died 1905, buried Rock Church Cemetery, Hood Co. Does anyone have any knowledge of the Stokes family?
