She recently donated her photo album of class group and individual photographs to The Hood County Genealogical Society. Most of the identification of student and faculty was done by Mrs. Edna Starnes in 1997, at the age of 93. Mrs. Starnes's ninety-fourth birthday is 29 October, 1998. She would appreciate receiving your cards and notes. *** Update 11 December 1999: Winnie Moore writes in her Hood County News column, Lipan Smoke Signals. - Edna Starnes, 94 years old and a resident of Weatherford Health Care was able to come to the Lipan Masonic Lodge for the special meal prepared recently by members of Eastern Star. Edna's niece and nephew Jo Wimberley and Tom Claunch were kind enough to provide transportation for her and her wheelchair. Edna and her husband were very active for many years in the Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star. *** She remains as alert as ever and is now living in a nursing home.
