Jennie Teresa COGBURN(1877) was my grt. g.m; she & Wm. I. COGBURN's children are Joseph "Roy", Laura "Lula" BEALL, Willie Floyd, Hurley Dennis, Dollie(my g.m. married Arvellor "Rube" HENSLEE of Hood Co.)& Beula COX. She and her brother Joe Monroe DAVIS (m'd Bertie WHISENHUNT) were born in Ellis Co., TX, Ennis & Waxahachie, respectively; also had a sister Mollie, who may have been a Mary. I've just learned that Ann probably died about the time Jennie was around 8 yr old and reportedly John DAVIS took his children to Hood Co. Molly married Milton HENSLEE of Hood Co., who is also my grt-g.f. Maxfield F. HENSLEE's (m'd Lucinda MATLOCK/children: John, Buck, Enoch, Hettie NELSON, Maggie GEE, Jim, Will, Jesse, Cleveland, Gilbert, Arvellor)half brother. Mollie & Milton's children were Eunice DAVENPORT, Fronie DILL, Leete CANTRELL, Bud, Mitt DYE, & Walter. Interested in hearing from descendants or any family info someone could provide on this line; have nothing on John & Ann PRITCHARD DAVIS. Ihave some other descendant info willing to share.
