The Hood County Genealogical Society is pleased to bring you the biography of Andrew Jackson Luttrell (1831-1879) and information on his descendant families. A.J. Luttrell was from Randolph County, Arkansas and served in the Civil War. In the mid-1870's the Luttrell family relocated to Lipan in the far northwestern corner of Hood County, Texas.
