Dear Janna, These Tidwells are linked to my family tree. U.L. Sr.'s spouse Willie Smith was my 1cousin 2removed. She and my grandmother, Exer Smith Wells were very close. Willie was also known as Aunt Willie Tidwell or as Aunt Doc. I believe she was a midwife. If you can share any info on these Tidwells I'd greatly appreciate it. I wish I had more to offer you.
