I just tried and got the same space asking for password and then was denied since do not have one; I didn't even get the check w/server message. Maybe it's worth trying again later?? S

Forwarding this I received from another mailing list. I pulled it up the first time but it was too busy to let me register, and each time afterwards was too busy to even access. Keep trying! > The LDS site is up and running, but very hard to get through. > > http://eval.familysearch.com/default.asp > > If any of you find out anything please post to the list.
Does anyone have an access to the 1900 Hood Co census? I have an ancestor by the name of William Lee Brown who moved his family from MS in the 1890's and returned in the early 1900's but I would like to find out what page or house # they are listed on in the 1900 census. William was a minister but I don't know what he did in TX. One of his sons (my grandfather-Renow Marvin Brown) said he met up with some Indians who helped him find his way when he was lost, and also said he met Frank James & another "outlaw" that I can't remember his name. If anyone could find this for me I would appreciate it...Peggy Fisher
Darlene: Received your communication re:FH material to go online and have only one correction. Strictly speaking, ANYONE can contribute to the IGI-- not just LDS members. We have non-LDS patrons that contribute all the time. They simply understand that work is performed in an LDS temple in their deceased ancestors name. I am research the Smart family located in Hood Cty (Acton). My husband's ggrandmother was Mary Ellen Smart. B 6-30-1856. Believe her father to have been George Smart and mother to be Clarinda. Think she had 5 siblings. Mary Ellen married Samuel Benjamin Fedric on 9-4-1873 at Granbury, Tx. and then moved to Sherman Cty in the following years. If there is anyone that can help me, I would appreciate it greatly. Thanks so much.
