James Biffle (the J. stands for Jesse) and Berta Ann Beckham. I have a little info on the Beckhams who moved to Hill County in 1910, Joseph Milton Beckham and Lou Virginia Griffin (my great-grandmother Berta Ann Beckham's parents) I know there were Biffles in Hill Co. also, but have not been able to find my great-grandfather. From family records only, we think that J. James Biffle was born Feb. 1889, but we don't know where, who his parents were, if he had siblings, nothing! We were told that he served as assistant attorney general of Texas, but have been unable to verify the title, only that he did indeed work as an attorney in the attorney general's office. Any leads would be greatly appreciated- I have a large family who is hoping to discover our Beckham and Biffle relatives! Thanks so much- Kelly Kirkland
