Whitney Messenger Friday, July 25, 1952 DEATH CLAIMS MRS. LULA JANE EPPS Mrs. Lula Jane Epps, 74, passed away 5:30 p.m. Saturday at her home in Huron community. Funeral services were held at 4 o'clock Thursday afternoon at Marshall and Marshall Chapel in Hillsboro. Cecil Allen minister of the Whitney Church of Christ officiated. Burial was at Heath Cemetery. Mrs. Epps was a member of the Church of Christ of Cedar Creek. She married J.M. Epps September 10, 1892 and had lived in Hill and Bosque Counties all her life. She is survived by two brothers; Isaac and Tom Pollard of Whitney; and the following children; George J. Epps, Abbott, James I. Epps, Whitney, Mrs. O.A. Turner Whitney, Mrs. Noble Holt, Big Lake, Mrs. W. E. Heath, Whitney, Mrs. J.H.
