Posted on: Hill County Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Tx/Hill/1113 Surname: Rance ------------------------- Does anyone know anything about Whitney Cemetery? I am looking for a George H. Rance who died in 1933 in Frost, Navarro County. According to his death certificate, he was buried in Whitney Cemetery. There is no Whitney Cemetery in that county. However, I have been told that there is a Whitney Cemetery in Hill County. Thanks.

    3. There was a cemetery in Whitney that was covered over by the Whitney Dam & lake. It was very old but wasn't moved, according to what I've been told.
