Edward Nixon Yates was the son of Joseph Christopher Columbus Yates and Alice Eliza Tekell. Joseph was my grandfather's brother! Alice and Joseph (Lum) both died in Hubbard, Hill Co., Texas. I have a snapshot of Lum and Alice circa 1940. I have Edward's brothers and sisters info. I have their lineage back to 1575.
