Sorry, I don't know Leta but can look her up for you if you would like. My Puckett & Bostick families lived in Itasca & Covington. Wm Andrew Puckett from Columbia Co AR married Cora Alice Bostick of Covington in late 1800s & they lived their lives in Itasca - Bois d'Arc community. Cora's sister, Bessie, married Charles Edward Ramsey & they lived in Covington. Recently, I spoke with a man who has lived in Itasca all his life & he said that the Ramseys of Covington were cousins to the Pruitts of Itasca. My Ramsey cousin in Covington (who I also just found recently) has no knowledge of any kinship between these 2 families. Any clue on any of these families will be appreciated. There is mention of Covington, and I'm wondering if anyone knew where my great grandmother lived. She is buried at Covington, TX and her name was Eliza Abagail HAMILTON Pledger. She was married to Wesley PLEDGER. They came to Hill Co., TX about 1865 from GA. Other Hamiltons and Pledgers traveled with them I understand. Eliza (Jenny) and Wesley were the parents of my grandmother, Eliza Jane (Jenny) Pledger, who married John James (J J) McKinney about 1871, I think in Hill Co.
