I looked at the pictures on Barbara's Hill Co. Picture site. According to Phyllis Rummell who gave me the information to start with. The mother of William E. Brown is Frances Duncan, Brown Willis. And her last husband did have a name. Thomas Barton Willis. The siblings are listed below Brown/Willis: l-r: William Brown, Hollie Brown, Cynthia Elizabeth "Lizzie" Willis, Harriet Louisa Brown Carpenter & Johnnie Brown. William E. Brown did marry Grace McPherson and moved to Tarrant County shortley after 1900. He died a few years later leaving Grace with four very small children. The two boys were Homer Othello Brown and Joe Thomas Brown, who was my husbands father.
