    3. Mary Faye Turk 1910 - 2002 Mary Faye Turk, 92, a homemaker, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002, in an area hospital. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at Ridge Park Cemetery, Hillsboro. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church, Hillsboro, Rev. Mike Morgan and Rev. Bob Moon officiating. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors, Hillsboro. Memorials: contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church, PO Box 635, Hillsboro, Texas 76645. Mary Faye Turk was born Jan. 10, 1910, in Union Bluff Community, Hill County, the daughter of Ed and Virgie Lou (Moser) Cypert. She graduated from Abbott High School and married Herbert Cooper Turk on March 22, 1930. They resided in Hill County until 1949, when they moved to Jal, N.M. He preceded her in death on Aug. 5, 1975, and she returned to Hillsboro the following year. Mary is also preceded in death by sisters Dixie Williams, Hazel Springer and Nell McDaniel, and brothers Eugene, Virgil, Wilbur, Millard and Othel Cypert. Mary was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Hillsboro. Survivors: Daughter, Wanda Turk Cook and husband, J.D., of Mertzon; son, Ed Turk and wife, Bobbie, of Benbrook; brother, Vernon Cypert of Waco; sister, Geneva Hill of Hillsboro; grandchildren, John David Cook of Mertzon, Priscilla McCollum and husband, Steve, of San Angelo, and Doug Turk and wife, Angie, of Quitman; one great-grandchild, Lauren Jean McCollum of San Angelo.
