His application for a pension based on his Mexican War services states that he is a resident of Blaton, Texas. His son, Dan Jean, is listed on the page with your grandparents, Andrew and Hannah Bishop. There is a cemetery in that area which is sometimes referred to as "Jawbone" or "Blanton", but the real name is Pleasant View Memorial Cemetery, 1885. Darius and Dan Jean are both buried there. I can't remember the Hill County Road numbers, but you head west off 171 at Osceola on HR 934. I want to say that the cemetery is located at the intersection of HCR 1244 and 1200.
