Craig, minister of the Itasca Church of Christ, will officiate. > Jesse R. Freeman was a native of Hill County. He was born March 13, 1888, > near Whitney, the son of John and Mattie Crain Freeman. > He was married to Miss Jane Peadon in Hillsboro Feb. 19, 1911. She > preceded him in death on July 24, 1949. > Mr. Freeman moved with his family to Itasca in 1921. He worked at the > Standly Barber Shop for several years. > He became associated with the late J. C. Duck in Duck and Freeman Barber > Shop and for a number of years they operated the enterprise. > Later Mr. Freeman operated his own shop in Itasca.
