    3. Whitney Messenger Thursday, May 16, 1946 FUNERAL HELD WEDNESDAY FOR MRS. RAINBOLT News reached The MessengerWednesday of the death Tuesday night of Mrs. Mark Rainbolt. Funeral services were held at Prairie Calley Wednesday at 3 p.m. conducted by Rev. F.E. Weller. A full account of the life of Mrs. Rainbolt will be printed next week in this paper. Whitney Messenger Thursday May 23, 1946 MRS. MARK RAINBOLT Miss Dora Moore was born in Bosque County, Texas, December 17, 1884 and with the family came to Hill County, locating in Prairie Valley where she had lived most of her life. In failing health for some tim, she was taken to Clifton hospital where she passed away Tuesday night, May 14. In 1901 she was united in marriage to Mr. J.R. King who passed away in 1902. In 1905 she was married to Mr. Mark Rainbolt who, with one daughter, Mrs. Inez Ivy of Mansfield, are left to mourn the departure of a devoted companion and loving mother. She is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. Susie Wiswell of Corona, Calif, Mrs. Maggie Campbell of Graham and Mrs. Minnie Willis of SanAntonio; two brothers, W.A. Moore of Corona, Calif and L.N. Moore of Old Glory and two granddaughters. She had professed faith in Christ uniting with the Baptist church at Prairie Valley, where funeral services were held at 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, May 15, conducted by Rev. F.E. Wellers. The Didson Brister Funeral Home of Walnut Springs was incharge of the arrangements. Interment was in the cemetery at Prairie Valley. Pallbearers were: Joe Booth, Buren Overton, John Kissinger, Carmel Marsh, Roy Ivy and S-SGT Geo. S. Ivy.
