WHITNEY MESSENGER SATURDAY, JANUARY 19, 1895 Mrs. Mary A. Denton, died very suddenly yesteday morning at 3:30 o'clock at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Mary S. Womack, 525 North Fourth Street, at the age of 71. Funeral will be held from the residence of Mrs. Womack today at 3 o'clock p.m.. Interment at Oakwook. Mrs. Denton had been visiting her daughter for the past month and durning her short stay had made many friends. She was a very estimable lady and her many friends will learn the sad intelligence with regret.-- Waco Morning News, Sunday January 13. Mrs. Denton was the mother of Messrs. P.M., John and Pete Greenwade, all of whom reside near Towash, a few miles south west of Whintey. They were apprised of her sudden death by wire Saturday morning and went down the following afternoon to be present at the interment. Mrs. Denton's home was considered with Mr. P.M. Greenwade, and she was only at Waco on a visit to her other relatives, having been in ordinarly good health. She was the widow of the late Dr. T.J. Womack, who once resided near Peopia and who is well known by many of our old residents. The latter, it is remembered, died at Waco last year.
