(Tom) Worley on March 24th, > 1925, and took from the home the loving wife and mother, Addie M. Worley, > aged 39 years, 6 months and 10 days. It was Tuesday evening at 7:30 o'clock > when she was called to fill that vacant place that had been awaiting her in > that Heavenly home, not made with hands. > E. N. Worley and Miss Addie Freeman were married in 1900. To this union > nine children were born; Tommie, Willie Mae, Jesse Lee, Braxton, Travis, > Tolbert, Charlie, Joccile and Miriam, all of whom survive except Tommie. > Besides her husband and eight children, she leaves to mourn her death a > father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. John Freeman; and three brothers, Willie > Freeman, Whitney, Texas; Jesse Freeman, of Itasca, Texas; and Lony Freeman, > who is in Oklahoma, all of whom were present except Lony. > Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. H. Vermillion at DeGraffenreid > Cemetery Wednesday, March 25, 1925, at 4:00 p. m. Interment was made > immediately after. > She is sleeping, sweetly sleeping, > Where the lonesome Cedars wave, > Where the flowers and vines are creeping, > Around the cold and silent grave. > There was an angel band in Heaven, > That was not quite complete. > So God took this dear loved one, > To fill the vacant seat. > A precious one from us is gone, > A voice we loved in stilled, > A place is vacant in our home > Which can never be filled. > God, in His wisdom, has recalled > The boon of life He had given, > And though the body slumbers here, > The soul is safe in Heaven. > > Card of Thanks > We take this method of thanking each and every one tha [sic]were so loyal > to show their sympathy by deed and word to our dear wife, daughter, mother, > Addie Miller Worley, (nee Freeman).
