    3. Hi! Haven't written in a while, so I thought I'd remind you all about our Hill County Photo Site. http://www.zing.com/album/?id=4293428835 We are up to almost 200 photos, postcards, etc. If anyone has any photos, or any other scanned image they would like to submit, please contact me, and I'll give you the directions on how to scan your image to get it to me to put on the site. I WISH that the site was easier to navigate...and that there was an index, with the complete captions, etc. But, I don't have any control over that. I have put "instructions" on the first page. I have put the submissions into 3 basic groups...the first being "school" photos, the second being "family" photos, and the last being "miscellaneous" submissions. I have tried to caption them with the main surname first, so that you can find your "group" in the drop down menu a "little easier"..and I've tried to keep the family groups, and submitters together. I have written to ZING with my comments about an index page...we'll see if it gets anywhere (ha ha!!) Photo sites are pretty slow to get around in, especially if you have a slow internet connection. That is the nature of the "beast", since good images are rather large files, which take long to download. The upside is, we have some really nice old photos for your enjoyment! So, please take a look, and if you have anything at all you'd like to submit, please e-mail me! Barbara Craddock Pike
