I looked up Ancestry.com's description. It says the following: District 48 Justices precincts; No. 6 (part of) All of the precinct south of the Covington and Kimble public road. District 49 Justices precincts; No. 6 (part of) All of precinct south of the Covington and Kimble public road. I take this to mean that Precinct No. 6 is divided into two parts....north and south. And, that the parts are located on the north and south sides of the Covington and Kimble public road. If I am wrong, someone please help me here. I would like to know if I am wrong. The town of Covington is located in the northern part of Hill Co., just below Johnson Co. I do not know where Kimble is located. I hope this helps. Shirley
