The area was referrred to as "Brooken." I do not know where that is. How would I go about tracing her birth certificate? I would like to know who her grandparents were. I know her father's name was John Cvikel, and her mother was named Anna Martinek Turek Cvikel. Her parents are buried at Bold Springs Cemetery near West, Tx. Any help you can give to get started would be greatly appreciated.
