Everyone is invited to attend our Grand Opening and Benefit Supper on Thursday, August 22, 2002, at The Hamilton County Genealogy Society Library and Research Center, Hamilton, Tx. We have built a new addition to our Genealogy Library, 3,000 square feet building. We had run our of space. We now have over 8,000 genealogy books in our library. On Aug. 22 we will have Open House from 10 a.m. to 5. p.m. Benefit Supper, is to Help Raise Money For Our Building Fund, will be from 5.p.m. to 8 p.m., Brisket and all the fixing will be served, at 209 W. Henry, Hamilton, Tx. You can purchase the tickets in advance or they can be purchase that night at the door. Ticket are $6.00. Betty Wheeler an local artist will have her oil paintings on display and for sale the day of the Open House.
