There are several books on History of Hill County... "A History of Hill County, Texas 1853-1980" is by the Hill County Historical Commission. "A History of Hill County Texas 1838-1965" is by Ellis Bailey. Both are really good reference books. I recommend them. There is also on on Johnson and Hill Counties that has biographical sketches in it... forget if I saw it at Hillsboro Library or Waco Library... but it is wonderful. I believe that book was at the library in Waco... It has a nice genealogy section, so don't forget to check there! Di Diana Holland
