Just a note to let you know that if you sent me items to put on the site over the holidays, I am getting ready to work putting them on. I was in Hillsboro over the weekend. My cousin, Anna Letha Coleman Jordan, age 100, the last one in her generation, passed away on Thursday, Jan 4, and her funeral was on Saturday. While I was there, I took a few digital photos of sites around Hillsboro, and will also be putting them on the site. I hope that we have some new Hill County researchers joining us, and want to let you know about our Photo Site. If you have any old photos (or new photos) of the people and places of Hill County, please contact me, and I will put them up on our photo site. The link to our site is at the bottom of this e-mail. I am trying to get records from the church's our DUNCAN's belonged to. It is a slow process because some records do not go back that far. Francis DUNCAN-BROWN-WILLIS Sandra Prochnow
Hi Phyllis There was a Brown -Duncan marriage I ran across recently in Anderson Co., TN. I will forward that to you. Loretta Davis
Do you know where your Duncan's came from. My Great Grandmother was Francis L. (Duncan), she married a James Brown something happened to him. Then she married Thomas B. Willis. She came in a cover wagon about 1888. We don't know if the Duncan's, or the Brown families she came with or both. There are several Duncan families in the Hill County area. Wondering if she was related, must have been. Do you possibly have her in your tree so we can find out more on her parents. She was born in Van Buren Ark. Phyllis C. Rummel

I've been trying to learn something about W T Hudson who married Miranda Agnes Hale, possibly in Bosque Co. Miranda and her widowed mother Elizabeth (Tittle) Hale migrated from Dade Co. GA, to Adair/Macon Co. MO, to Bosque Co. TX. about 1881.
