    3. Hi Cheryl I am not sure how to do this but it was done to get my sisters #. Go to the maps such as for travel. Put in his name and address then ask for the neighborhood around him. Somehow you can get an address and name and phone # of a neighbor. After they are found call them and tell them who you are and that you are looking for him and ask if they have his #. If this is illegal I would not know as I said it was done to my sister. Davis married Martha Rose Wardlow (may have been spelled differently) They had eleven children. Martha died at the age of 37 and Will put most of the children in the Presbyterrian Home for Children in Files Valley,Hill County, Texas. There were several twin births. I do not know all of the childrens names. The ones I do know are Opal and Otis, Elmer and Delmer, Viola, JT or Buck and Beulah Davis. I am the granddaughter of Beulah. She had lived in Texas since 1877. In 1879 she maried my great grandfather, John Tillmon Gilliam. I have quite a lot of info on the Gilliam family, but nothing on the Galiga family. I do know that she had a nephew living in Hillsboro when she died, a W. T. Galiga. He made out the Application for Morturary Warrant when she died. I even have his address in 1942 as 924 Park Drive, Hillsboro. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Funeral service was at 11 a.m. Thursday. The Reverend Eddie Booth officiated. Burial was in Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro. She was 90. Mrs. Epps was born November 21, 1901 in Hill County, the daughter of Ken and Sally (Dyer) Rose. She married George J. Epps in 1921 and he preceded her in death on March 3, 1966. She was also preceded in death by a son, Bobby Epps in 1945 during World War II, and by a daughter, Joyce R. Sexton in August 1965. Mrs. Epps lived in Hill County most of her life. She was a member of Prairie Valley Baptist Church. Mrs. Epps is survived by one son, G.J. Epps of Whitney, one brother, J.C. Rose of Hillsboro and three grandchildren

He was 51. Funeral services were held in the Blum Baptist Church, with Rev. Bobby Stalcup officiating. Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery. The Whitney Oddfellows conducted graveside services. A native of Gatesville, Mr. Young had lived in Blum the past 11 years. He spent most of his life in the Walling Bend area. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Young. He was a welder in Cleburne at the time of his death. Mr. Young was a member of the Blum Baptist Church and the Whitney Oddfellows Lodge. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II. Mr. Shelley was born in Atlanta, Georgia, June 19, 1853, and had reached the ripe old age of 88 years and 14 days. He was united in marriage to Miss Ino Burns on September 21, 1873, and she preceded him to the eternal home March 14, 1935. For twenty years they resided in Arkansas and three years in Oklahoma before coming to this vicinity where they continued to reside, forming a wide circle of friends and aquaintances whose presence at the funeral services bore testimony of the high esteem they had for a friend of such sterling character. When a young man of 16, he excepted Christ as his Savior, uniting with the Baptist Church and at the time of his home going was a member of the First Baptist Church. For a number of years he was associated with his son, Tom, in the produce business here. After the decease of his wife and the retiring from business here, he made his home in Waco with his daughter, Mrs. Jessie Dyer. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. Ada Sooter of Slanton, Mrs. Sallie Cherrie of Texarkana, Ark., Mrs. May Devine of Tarlton, Okla., Mrs. Jessie Dyer of Waco, Mrs. Gertrude Rogers of National City, Calif., Tom Shelley of Waco and Lit Shelley of Whitney. He is also survived by a sister: Mrs. Jane Wood of Rockport, and four brothers, Joe and Hanse of Whitney, Will of Lubbock and Barto Shelley of Siloam Springs, Ark.. Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church Friday, July 4, at four p.m. conducted by Revs. E.E. Crawford and F.E. Weller. Wilkerson and Hatch of Waco wre in charge of arrangements and interment was at Degraffenried Cemetery. The Masonic fraternity, of which he had been a member for many years, had charge of the service at the cemetery.
