BROWNING FAMILY ANNOUNCEMENT The Browning family genealogist, Lillian Browning Ingersol, has announced a re-printing of the Browning Family history book first published in 1991 in honor of the 400th Anniversary of the founding of America at Jamestown in 1607. All descendants of the Cornelius Browning and related families that came to Henderson Co in the late 1850’s are invited to participate and provide updated family group sheets. Cornelius Browning b. 10 Nov 1852 d. 9 Nov 1879 buried in Reynolds family Cem. in Baxter, Henderson Co ,and his 1st wife Emeline Eidson came to Henderson Co from Barbour Co, AL . Cornelius married 2nd Sophia Ann Powers of New Hope Community, Henderson Co, and married 3rd to widow Betty Russell. Descendants of all related families are encouraged to participate. Photos of earlier generations welcomed. Anticipated cost for a hardback book, approx 200 pages will be $40 plus postage; could be lower depending on number of books ordered.
