He was the son of William Laford Henderson and Elizabeth Busby. Elizabeth married Peter Smith after William died during Civil War, so the decendents of Peter Smith and Elizabeth Busby Henderson Smith are also invited to this reunion. The reunion will be held at the Rusk State Park in the outdoor covered pavillion by the lake at the park. It will be Saturday October 7th. 2006 from 8am-10:00pm. We are going to have games and contest as well as an auction of items that people bring to the reunion, in this way we will raise money for next years reunion.
