Specifically, I am curious about who I believe was his second wife, widow Amanda J Edwards. They possibly married in the late 1870's after the deaths of first spouses. In the 1880 census of Henderson County Tx. the J Hugh Killingsworth household included two stepchildren, male Drew (5) and female "Lackey Bee" (7/12). Could this mean they were both the children of Amanda by her first husband James T. Edwards? Apparently, John Hugh went on to have at least four wives (and maybe more).
